Frontend tech lead
In SDC Digital Channels, we provide critical banking solutions, personalized for our customers. As our new frontend technical lead in SDC, you will be part of our journey from design to final delivery, of our digital banking solutions. You will be part of team with talented and motivated colleagues, ranging from business to development, and will have a great opportunity to help shape our future platform and lead a team of professionals.

Being the expert on our frontend platform. Setting the bar and direction of future development of our technical stack, as our technical lead on the frontend. Prioritize the technical roadmap in line with the company long term strategy and customer needs.
Functioning as an anchor point and go-to person for internal technical discussions between the business and development teams.
Leading our internal frontend team at our sites in Denmark and Poland. Providing regular feedback and motivating team members, functioning as a mentor developing the team.
Being the link between our extremal frontend development team and own backend development team in Poland. Taking the ownership of and maintaining the technical backlog, setting the direction and ensuring the optimal system architecture to reach our business goals. Maintaining the overview of the interfaces in our tech stack and drive the discussion around these with the teams.
What we expect of you
A thorough understanding of the core principles React/Typescript and have a proven track record of written high-quality code. As such, you are well versed in the newest principals of using hooks in React. Additionally, you have a solid understand styling components in CSS/SCSS.
You have a software background with experience in building full stack systems and is used to navigate in a complex cloud environment. As such, you have to skillset to quickly get an overview and understanding of technical landscape of the full technical stack.
Used to work in incremental releases in an Agile incremental fashion, to reach the long-term goal in a safe and controlled manner.
Being a strong a communicator, you are able to bridge the technical gap between different disciplines, from software developers to the business team. Bringing technical conversation to the level where everyone can easily understand the complexity and align on the optimal solutions. Thinking long-term and strategically to implement technologies that enable us to grow our business and meet our customer needs.
You have a solid overview of different software technologies and how they interact and are able to architecture a React/Typescript frontend application on top of the RESTfull API’s in a complex cloud environment.
Your people management skills are outstanding; driven by motivating, leading, and developing others team members.
A good fundamental understanding of how the business works and can easily navigate organizational and commercial side.
Previous experience in the finance sector is a plus.
The role is based in Denmark and you will be working from Vesterbro/Ballerup. You must be able to travel to our office in Poland 5-7 times per year.
