On Tuesday, June 19th, SDC's new customer BRAbank, went live in Norway, and in a few months it will follow with Sweden.
The owners of BRAbank are mainly two famous individuals from the top of Norway's business community: Per G. Braathen and Olav Thon.
Per G. Braathen is the owner of Braganza, which operates the airline BRA in Sweden and 94-year-old Olav Thon has properties and hotels primarily in Norway.
Together, the two owners have almost 30% of the bank's equity of 300 million. kr.
The new bank is only internet based and it will initially focus on the market for consumer loans.
