Friday 3rd of March Finansforbundet opened the doors for this year’s Startup Weekend Copenhagen FinTech, where 80 creative fintech entrepreneurs attended to share their ideas. SDC presented a challenge: "Family Banking Service Concept", where the attendees had 54 hours to come up with a solution that was inspired by the given challenge.
SDC's Head of Business Development for eBanking & Payments, Ole Kyhnæb was there the whole weekend as a mentor and coach for the participants. The Winner of the SDC Award was the solution Kommon, which is an app for "shared common interests", where transactions from different banks are collected, to an advantage for everything that is shared and has common financials. The idea supports the modern family and the modern way of living.
