New CEO in September

After more than 10 years at head of SDC, Jesper Scharff has decided to retire.

"After Jesper informed us that he wanted to retire, we initiated a thorough process to find the right replacement for this very important position. We have been pleasantly surprised by the great interest in the job and the very strong field of candidates. As a result of the thorough recruitment process, the Board of Directors has decided to appoint Torben Finnemann as the new CEO of SDC as of 1^st of September 2023. We are convinced that he is the right choice for the job." explains Klaus Skjødt, Chairman of SDC.

Klaus Skjødt continues:

"We would also like to thank Jesper for his time at SDC, where he has worked purposefully to professionalize SDC's business and focused on building a modern and reliable platform that makes SDC a competitive and attractive player in the market."

The new CEO, Torben Finnemann, comes from a role as Area Director for SDC, where he is currently responsible for the entire advisory area, including the core banking platform. Torben has been with SDC for 10 years and has been in contact with most business areas in SDC. He therefore has in-depth knowledge of SDC's customers and business.

"I have been happy to be with SDC for the past 10 years, and I am very confident and glad that the Board of Directors has chosen Torben to carry on the business. Torben has done a really good job during the years he has been at SDC, and he is the right person for the position," says Jesper Scharff.

Torben is 50 years old and lives with his two boys in Copenhagen. He holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Economics and Business administration and has worked in the consulting and IT industry for more than 25 years.

Jesper Scharff and Torben Finnemann will continue in their current roles at SDC until 1^st of September 2023.
