SDC now opens for using BankID for Norway when authenticating PSD2 payments using the solution that only requires one strong customer authentication (1-SCA).

The new solution makes use of a new type of token that requires development by users of SDC's PSD2 APIs.

Extension of the validity period of payment service users' consent (16/05-2023)

The validity of the consent to be given by payment service users to payment initiation or account information service providers wanting to access PSD2 data will be extended from 90 to 180 days as of 25 July 2023.

This means that if the payment service user gives or renews his/her consent

 • before July 25, 2023, it will be extended by 90 days.

 • from July 25, 2023 at 00:00, it will be extended by 180 days.

The change is automatic and does not require any changes to access SDC's PSD2 APIs.
